Holiday Caring
Easter and Christmas Baskets
The weeks leading up to Easter and Christmas, our committee shops for items and gathers greeting cards from the congregation to fill the 20 to 30 baskets for our homebound members. The committee delivers the baskets and spends time visiting with each homebound member. This ministry began over 7 years ago and is a true blessing to those who receive the baskets.
Thanksgiving Boxes
Thrivent Dollars are used to purchase Thanksgiving food items to fill boxes delivery. A Thanksgiving card for each recipient. In 2022 a total of 10 Thanksgiving boxes of food were packed and delivered providing food to 22 children and adults in need of food assistance.

The Ladies Tea
The Ladies Tea is held annually in the Spring as a fundraiser with a special theme each year. See accompanying photo.
Pancake Breakfast
A monthly Pancake Breakfast is held immediately after the worship service. The breakfast consists of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and a variety of drinks. Good Will Offering is collected.
Pizza Night
Pizza Night is held on the third Monday of each month. Hosts sign up to organize the gathering by picking the restaurant location and letting the restaurant know how many to expect. It is a great time to meet and socialize with members of our church. Everyone picks up their own check.
Perkins Luncheon
The men’s and women's luncheon is held on Wednesdays at 11 AM to 12 PM at Perkins Restaurant, 5921 Fruitville Road, Sarasota (off of North Cattlemen Rd.) Everyone is welcome to attend.
